I am unable to change the code language from C++ to VB, C# or anything else when viewing in Chrome (my default browser). Works fine in IE8 / Firefox.

For example, when I open the page on Encoding, I get the Syntax section in C++, I click the VB tab and nothing happens! Same for code samples.

I have the same problem, but the other way around. Switching languages works in IE and Chrome, but it doesn't work in Firefox for me. Addons such as Adblock are disabled.
