Hello,

I have recently purchased a new Asus laptop, and decided to go with a Windows machine specifically so I can use the Kinect V2.

On the following link (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/kinectforwindows/purchase/sensor_setup.aspx),

I checked the necessary hardware and got the right laptop - there is no mention on that page that some USB 3.0 hosts simply *do not work*.

I am extremely depressed that after all this effort and money I can't use the Kinect v2.

This is a big disappointment.

Is there any possible workaround? I cannot replace the laptop, and my budget is limited.

Any help would be highly appreciated.
