I've been trying to get videos to play for weeks. I've tried every encoder from ffmpeg to VLC to miro to AVC and more. I've tried every combination of suggestions from all over the internet. The only mp4 videos that play in IE9 are the Uncle Buck Bunny video and one processed by another third party using a paid application but he, too, has found nothing wrong with my copy.

I want to blame my host because the third party, mentioned above, was able to get one of my videos to play on his site but my host says there is nothing on their end that could affect this. These videos do play in IE9 from the server set up in my office using FreeBSD or Centos and Apache. My host uses Centos and Apache. The mp4 videos play beautifully in Chrome and Safari.

My test page is * . You'll notice there are only red x's but the controls do flash briefly when you reload the page. It appears the videos are downloaded into IE9.
