Hi,

I've Win 8 Pro and Visual St. 2012. I want to develop wp8 apps and I recently downloaded WP8 SDK. Installation finished and when I'm trying to start my app i'm getting an error like that "deployment failed, because no windows phone 8 was detected. Make sure a phone is connected and powered on." Coreinfo says my machine has the capability of SLAT but when i'm running "CheckSLATStatusOfMachine" it says "Your machine does not have hardware virtualization capability. So, your machine is not SLAT capable." I'm very confused, could you help me ?

Hm, when CheckSLATStatusOfMachine states that your machine does not have hardware virtualization capability, then this most likely is the reasone why you cannot run the WP8 emulation.

In general the emulator requires SLAT.
So when you don't have it or can't enable it in the BIOS/EFI, you won't be able to use the emulator.
