I am getting a couple of problems.  When I uninstall R from SQL using the RegisterRext.exe file, the Launchpad service will not start, and the error is that the service has not responded in a timely fashion.

It doesn't say anything about db_rrerole. It looks like the program not even tried to create the role. The role actually doesn't exist, so step 4.2 "... On each database that you want to access using the RevoScaleR functions, run the following statement in SQL Server Management Studio to create a SQL Login: ..." fails for obvious reasons.
