I am very new to forms usage. When I posted my first question I got refered back to the main form site. I had looked at all items that I thought would help me but none of them gave me the answer I was looking for.

The question is I have my files backed up on an external hard drive. I want to know if I install synctoy 2 on my new computer can I just attach the external hard drive to install these files. I think that I will have to make new folders with the document names on the new computer to do this. All help would be greatly appreciated.

For one thing, what do you mean to mention "install these files"? Do you mean that the orignal files are the installed software? If so, I don't think it's a good way to use SyncToy. As you sync the installed software with SyncToy, it dose the same thing as your manually copy. So the result of right folder may not be used as a could-be-run software.
