We have a .NET application and we create a file that is saved on the temporary folder of the user (C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Temp")
When our application tries to open the Excel file (with the "Process.Start" method), we have the same error message : "Microsoft Excel cannot open or save any more documents because there is not enough available memory or disk space"
BUT : if we :
- Generate the file on another location, it works
- Open the file manually by double-clicking on it, it works
- Disable the protected view mode inside Excel (the second checkbox), it works
It seems that it only occurs on Office 2016 (version 1803) with Windows 7 (OK in W10 ...)
We don't reproduce this issue on our side, it's a customer problem ...
