I can't get my hands on a surface/Windows 7 Touch machine anytime soon, but one of my clients might want some development done for a trade show booth they're building with some of the new PixelSense machines, so I had a quick question about touch events in a web browser.

Does anyone know (or can someone find out) if the PixelSense UI pushes touch events to the web browser the same way a touch device (e.g. smartphone) does? We're trying to build a web app for PixelSense and we need to know if we can use the event.touches array/touch events or if we need to fall back on mouse events.

Let me explain you also that, Surface pixelsense has not been done for building web application. This is not the goal of the product because web browser do not acces touch and the wors it is not multi user based. I had different project customer who wants at the begining brwosing the web, but after explaining them correctly what the product has been build and what is its primary goal, those customers clearly understand. You need to see Surface as data consumer and presenter in a multi user environement where evenr those data comes from.
