Operating system? XP. Apparently, a previous virus (now gone) deleted regsvr32.dll from my System32 file. I have since downloaded an authentic copy of it and successfully pasted it into System32. Now, regsvr32 says it can't locate the entry point because, well, obviously Catch22. Thus, are there careful entries that I can now add to the Registry to accomplish such registration manually?

Last time I looked regsvr32 was a .exe. Regsvc is a dll - and regsvr32.exe will correctly report that it does not have an entry point.
