Hi,
I have run into the NTLM Double Hop issue in the scenario given below:
Client Portal -> Web Service -> Sharepoint
One possible solution is to use Delegation, but since the whole solution will be deployed at various client sites which means we will have to get delegation done at each one of the deployments.
The other solution is to implement my Custom Windows Authentication Provider and use it in the scenario above.
The question is regarding the second solution.
1. Is it secure to implement a solution like this.
2. If the site gets a security audit is such a solution posing any security risk and eventually result in a failed audit.
