I have Windows 7 with IE 8.0.7600 and I get a "Tag is Invalid" error when I use a simple Javascript window.open() command that opens a blank windows that is scripted to be populated by a document.write() command. This code works on all other browsers. I have tried for a long time to find a security setting that will prevent this error but have come up empty. Has anyone else experienced this and come across an answer/fix? I appreciate anyone's help! Thanks.
