Hi, I am trying to convert an Excel cell formatted as text (eg, `00123456) to a number (eg, 123456) using a macro I am trying to create. I can easily use the Convert to Number option (via Error Checking Option) manually but when I'm recording a macro nothing shows up when performing this step..?! It is as if I hadn't done anything. I have tried other options and functions and this is the fastest and cleanest option but appears to be unavailable for use within a standard macro in VBA...? Using VBA 6.5 on Win7 in Excel 2007.
