Hello everyone,
I've tried numberless ways to get rid of an error with the Server 2008 WMI service however I could not find any way to get it working. I was curious why was my Server 2008 eating up my Core2Dou CPU, and I was surprised when I found that it was the WmiPrvSE.exe WMI Service. At first I thought it was a trojan virus so I've ran 5antivirus softwares and 10 online scanners on that file however none of those found anything suspicious. Then I've tried to stop the WMI itself with the "net stop winmgmt" command in cmd. Then my CPU usage immediately dropped out till 1-2%. I've read that I should try to reregister the dlls exes and mof files in the C:\Windows\System32\wbem folder, so I did that and again ran a WMI Diagnostics, it was just the same as before: "found issues which prevent the WMI to work properly!". Okay I thought I've installed some incompatible drivers, so I've reformatted the hdd deleted the partition and made a brand newone. After a clear installation I've ran again the WMI Diagnostics and nothing has changed. Numberless errors occurs, also here is the log file:
