I'm considering implementing WebDAV via SSL to replace FTP.  I  have WebDAV working, but I'm having some trouble with finding information regarding isolating users.  Any advice with regard to implementing WebDAV with user isolation would be very much appreciated.  Thank you!

I'm sure this post is dead by now, but for those of you that found this like me... I believe I found a way to simulate this.  I followed this site's steps, but it didn't seem to work just right.  I added one more step.  I created virtual directories underneath the website and set the webdav authoring on the vd itself.  The VD is pointed to a physical folder much like the explanation in the hyperlink above.  I'm even using the USERS group instead of giving the Windows AD user direct permissions on the physical folder. I know this isn't a detailed explanation, but it'll get you pointed in the right direction.  It works for me. The only thing I'm working on now is to attempt to get a group folder and user folder mapped at the same time with the webdav re-director.  I don't think this can be done.  If only ftps worked with IE, Firefox, or Win Explorer.  I just don't think most end users would like a program like filezilla.  It's hard enough getting people browsing to an ftp site with Win Explorer instead of IE.
