I am sure someone is going to make me feel pretty stupid but we have been developing here with the full Visual Studio.net package for a few years.

Recently we bought some copies of VB.Net 2003 standard edition and installed them.

However, when I go to "view;solution explorer;add new item", the crystal report template is not there!!! That is where it always is.

There is a green card in the box which states that Crystal Reports is inside and is part of the default installation.

Am I going mad. There were no options at installation stage and none of us remember doing anything special when we installed the full studio.net standard versions a couple of years ago.

A Custom install should have allowed you to add CR. It's possible you may have received a modified copy that does not include CR. Check the Help About in a good copy of VS and you should see a CR keycode, not sure what that will help you with though.
