I have a windows aspx app I created. The app has several input forms, & several gridview reports which all have an edit hyperlink to form edit page(s). Some fields in the gridview are populated with data from SQL tables, other fields are blank. The edit form is so the user can make changes to the existing data populated from the table or to add additional data in fields not already populated.

The problem is that once you open an edit form (from gridview), say, add some data to field NOT populated, & save, the changes do show in the gridview HOWEVER, if you open that same record edit form, unless you retype those same additions previously added, it wipes them out.

The other problem, you should be able to change data populated from the SQL table(s) if need be. Problem is, you open the record edit, make the changes, click save, look @ the gridview, & none of the changes have saved.

I have searched & searched but can't find anything close to my problem. If anyone can help, I would GREATLY appreciate, I am on such a time crunch!!!
