I am about to use the Raspberry Pi 3 with Windows 10 IOT to drive a security system that monitors room occupancy via a badge readers database and also motion detection. The alarm will sound if there less than 2 people in the room for more than 20 seconds or zero people in the room and motion detected by an IR sensor for a period longer than 20 seconds.

Can someone point me to a resource, that would help me with this task.
