I know this is the wrong forum but I could not find any other more relevant place to ask...

I'm running VS 2015  and was trying out the entity framework, I have connected to a SQL 2014 Server on another machine.

I can get the Wizard to generate classes and all is fine, but when I rightclick in the designer, and choose "Update Model from database", and try to add the stored procedure VS throws an exception: 

"An exception of type 'System.ArgumentException' occurred while attempting to update from the database. The exception message is: 'Identifier is null or empty'."

...what gives...how can i add the Store procedure to local entity?

I create an simple demo, and I don't encounter the issue you occurring, could you please share your store procedure and related table, which we could reproduce your issue on my side.
