I have a kiosk application developed on .NET platform, integrated with hardware unit and communicates through serial port, need internet connection only for updates. Which version of OS platform would be the best among the current windows versions (Desktop,
tab or embedded/IOT) keeping cost/usage of hardware in mind.
Any suggestions/opinion (specially with windows 10 IOT ) ?
