I just did a master.dwt change to my right div column.  After updating all pages I found that the PayPal codes associated with my product had been altered making them unusable. The code change was as follows:

The addition of the 0 after cmd caused the link to go bad.  On pages with more than one of these style links (its a PayPal payment link button) each subsequent cmd value had a sequential number added, ie. cmd0, then cmd1, then cmd2, etc.

Any clue as to why this occurs?  With a few hundred items, making a change and then having to correct all pages is quite the task.  Help would be appreciated.
