I am implementing UI Automation for custom controls. I already have implemented the needed proviers but the problem is, that the Record and Replay function of the CUIT - Builder searches for the MSAA-Attributes and not for the "UI Automation"-Attributes. (If you ínspect a program with "Inspect Objects" you can choose if you wanna see "MSAA"-Attributes or "UI Automation"-Attributes)

Is there a possibility to either tell the record/replay-thing to search for the UI Automation - Attributes or to set the MSAAA-Attributes correct?!

What is the underlying technology for your custom control ? Coded UI Test uses MSAA for winforms controls and UIA for WPF controls by default. This is decided based on the class name of the control.

Today it is not possible to guide the accessibility path (MSAA/UIA) for Coded UI Test explictly.
