Hello.

I can't install new October TFS Power Tools on my machine. During setup on step "Removing backup files" I get an error from Windows about VS crashing. After this I get a message:
"Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package.."
Then setup rollbacks.

In EventLog I can see:
Faulting application devenv.exe, version 9.0.30729.1, stamp 488f2b50, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, stamp 00000000, debug? 0, fault address 0x00020007.

I'm using Windows Server 2003 x64.

What can I do?
I need PowerTools :) I tried it on another maching (vista-x86) and it's great.

Sorry for the trouble. The installer should work on x64 box. Can you try "devenv /setup" on a Visual Studio command prompt and verify it works before installing TFS Power Tools. If it still fails, you can try the followings:

1. On a command prompt, type "msiexec /i tfpt.msi /l*vx install.log"
2. Open the log file and search "Error" or "1722". The log file should give you more clues about the installation failure.

If you can post a part of the error log, it would be great. Please let me know if you have further problems.
