I am trying to upgrade without luck. I need to uprade version internet explorer version 6 to at least version 7. it is a Samsung Monitor with a built in PC. it came with SP2. The computer is joined to a domain. The user has Administrator permission, I believe some compnents are missing. Tech support gave me http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb417253(winembedded).aspx,  when I try to Download the Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP SP2 installer, available from the Mobile and Embedded Communications Extranet (ECE) site. It askes for a password.

XPe is a custom built OS image. Upgrades are not like Windows XP Pro. You might want to contact the original manufacturer to see if they have an upgrade available.
