I have developed software for grocery store, a Commercial software, in C# and database used is MS Access mdi file,

Now the grocery store people are asking me to develop program to enable them to pay there bills from mobile phones (Android OS) from wherever they are...


What I am asking is guidance about is it possible to do so!?

Scenario what I have thought for developing such add-on is:
First I have to develop software for android which:

1) Access database from pc over internet, for particular Bill Number,
2) Displays the amount to be paid,
3) on submitting values from user update the data in database on pc over internet,

am I right about steps and if I am
is it possible to:
1) access data on pc over internet from android phone,
2) displaying data from access database to android phone
3) write data back to pc over internet from android phone?

Seriously? And you accepted this? Have you considered the implications, if you make even a teeny, tiny, little mistake? I don't mean to give offence, but you don't sound like you have any experience in doing anything like this, and you have to be extremely careful.

The most important thing for you to learn at this point is: Never, ever, accept code from a insecure website to handle anything to do with real money.

You do not know who is giving you the code, you do not know what it does, you do not know that it places the monies correctly into the appropriate account, without passing the details to any third parties.

Only get such code from reputable card transaction service companies - the scope for fraud otherwise is far too large. And remember, you personally could be liable for any monies lost if your action is seen to be negligent - which getting your code from a public forum would most certainly be!

And remember, that liability would almost certainly transfer to you if your code has any holes in it that (for example) an ex-employee could exploit...
