So this happened a few days ago.

 

Random little flash-functioning 'gadgets' on websites told me that I needed to download Adobe Flash Player to view. So I went to the site and did it. Unfortunately, even though it said "Downloaded" and everything, the site's gadget still didn't work.

 

Now it's a few days later and I've downloaded it twice more, and it still doesn't work. Today I opened another site and this time it says "JavaScript must be enabled and the latest version of Adobe Flash Player must be installed on your computer." So is it something wrong with my JavaScript? I went in to Tools > Security and enabled all 'Script-running' checkboxes, and it still doesn't work.

 

I could really use some help here, I need to access some of these flash items.

Sorry to do this, but I need to redirect you to Adobe's support pages for Flash.  Since it's their player, they have the most knowledge about it.
