I want to use gesture to switch tabs on chrome , or any other browsers. However, till now, the kinect samples I found are based on an individual application, and I have not idea if kinect can control other applications through binding hot keys.  Any one have the similar demand or experience? Kinect or its runtime does not control applications. You must write an application or plug-in to enable that kind of functionality. If you are not a developer you will have to reach out to the community or the software provider and see if they will provide support.
