I am using Visual Studio 2012 with TFS 2012. When I do a TFS folder compare, the UI allows me to specify filters.

Q: How can I get rid of a filter? I tried "deleting" it, but that just erases the text of the filter, and then I have yet one more filter - this one blank.

I am not averse to hand-editing an XML file somewhere, but I cannot find it.

Thanks for your post.

You want empty the Filter values when you opened Compare dialog from Source Control Explorer? Or provide the custom Filter values as default value in Compare dialog?
