I'm about to create a project to be running on my RPi2.

I'ts working perfect when I make a standard Windows Form program but I haven't managed to do the same in Win10 IoT Core.

I haven't tried doing what you describe myself but wanted to throw out a couple of ideas.

Since you can have multiple apps running on the RPi2, You could setup the "default startup app" as a central app to launch the other apps from. Then when the secondary app that was started is closed, the "default startup app" would then auto display.

You also mentioned multiple Windows for the app. The alternative that I have found is to use "Page Navigation" see this: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/xaml/Hh771188.aspx
