I trying to find a definite solution for this challenge. The customer requests that the WAP/ADFS solution forces a reauthentication after 5 minutes.

No matter which setting on the ADFS server that I toggle to 5 minutes, users are still re-authenticated automatically to the SharePoint server.

The relying party is configured as non-claims aware party due to Kerberos authentication being used.

What specific settings have you altered in ADFS?  Have you done a recording (with either Wireshark or browser developer tools) to verify that the user is passing through ADFS for a new token?
