I'm curious if this is possible because I have the standalone installer (not trying to install it along with other BizTalk server components), and I'm getting an error that a file is missing.  The error is:

This feature requires the following platform components to be installed: Runtime files. 

On the download page for UDDI Services 3.0 standalone, it states that Windows 7 is supported for the development features.  What do I have to do to be able to install that particular component; I understand that all of the others are only supported on Windows Server 2008 R2.  .  Thanks, and if you need more information, then please let me know.

Did you install the two prerequisites?

Note: On Windows 7 only the SDK and developer tools can be installed. To install UDDI Services 3.0 you need the following prerequisite software:

• Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3 or SQL Server 2008 Service Pack 1(selected features only)
