Hi,

I have Biztalk server 2010 installed on my machine & configured with SQL 2008 R2.

We have Active & Suspended sevice instances on BizTalk Administration Window.

But we are unable to see any instances of Active services, we can only see service instances of suspended Services.

When we check the values on WMI, (WMI class MSBTS_ServiceInstance), we can see instances of both active & suspended services. but, there we can't see the service name for Active Service instances. We get the value of InstanceID & the Service name appears as blank.

Please help us understand why this is happening?

Can you please exlain what running & suspended instances under the Group Hub are meant for?

Also please explain what WMI class MSBTS_ServiceInstance signifies & when are the instances for this class are generatted?

Hi Rahul,

If i understand your question correctly you are not able to see the active instances in Admin console.

It could be simply because they must be getting completed quickly. You will be able to see the instances or orchestrations which take time for processing. (They will be active for some time and then again they might get dehydrated after some time.) 

Sometimes when we see the active instance and try to check the values they are completed by that time and you dont see any information when you try to open the details.

I belive this is normal behaviour.
