I was writing earlier about some issues I had with encoding of movies and sporadic hanging on playback that I have to jump forward on.  Thought I would write this in a separate topic since my thoughts were on a tangent.  I have a server sitting in the basement that I use for transcoding.  I occasionally remote into it to check the status.  I know Expression is "Remote Desktop Aware" as I have seen before that it won't show a preview if remoting in.  That said, what is the probability knowing Expression is aware of the remote desktop connection, that each time I remote in to check the status it would cause a hickup in the video?
