我有一个VS 2005项目，需要生成大约20个报告。

最佳做法是只创建1个数据集（位于App_code中的.xsd文件）或者为每个报告创建1？

或者换句话说，将它们全部放在1个数据集中是否存在缺点？从我目前的角度来看，这似乎让事情变得更整洁。

Is it best practice to only create 1 Dataset (the .xsd files which reside in App_code) or to create 1 for each Report?

Or, putting it another way, is there a downside to putting them all in 1 dataset? From my current perspective this appears to make things a bit neater.

If one dataset can handle all of your reports' needs then yes. But keep in mind that you will be loading the entire dataset for each report generation (all the columns etc.)
