I installed the Python Visual Studio tools (PTVS 2.2 RC2) on my machine. 

If I try to create a new Python IoT project from the template chooser, I'll get the following alert box:

The text is correct. There is no v10 directory in the SDKs folder.

I have no problems to create a "Python Application" project.

Hi Toby,

I'm not sure why you don't have that directory. It is created when you install pyuwpsdk.vsix from here. I tested this for myself today and it worked as expected.

Assuming you did install this package then perhaps you could try reinstalling it... I'm not really sure what else to tell you.
