I am trying to publish an orchestration as a webservice, even thou the specified webservice does not exist in the IIS or the WWWRoot still it gives an error saying "Cannot delete existing web directory; overwrite is false".

I don't understand why is it asking the webservice to be overrideen when it does not exist in the firstplace, is there any other place I should look for the web directory apart from WWWROOT, I am using BTS 2006 R2, on Win XP using IIS 5.1.

I believe you are looking for this command. I am using a newer version of IIS but it may still work.

cscript adsutil.vbs删除W3SVC \\\\ROOT \ * YOURDIRECTORYNAME *

Run this from where adsutil.vbs is located. It was inetpub\AdminScripts for me.
