Hope you guys can help me. In Visual Studio web forms code editor, the ASP tags <% %> will not stop auto completing even though in Tools > Options > Text Editor > HTML (Web Forms) > Formatting > "Auto insert close tag" is turned off and Tools > Options > Text Editor > Html (Web Forms) > Miscellaneous > "Require '<' to trigger tag completion window" is turned off. I've spent the past week doing Google searches and going through all the menus in Visual Studio and still can't find anything to fix this. Can anyone point me in the right direction or is this a bug? Also I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling Visual Studio and all related system folders.
