Hi i am fairly new to expression design 4 and i like what i have done and learned so far. The problem i am having at the moment is that i would like to draw a pie chart and am having a little trouble. the main trouble is that i would like to snap to the center of the circle i create to the draw lines to meet the outside edge of the chrcle, then create the segmemts i need to colour in.

Can anyone point me in the right direction (ie vid tut or a walk through). I have kind of muddled through it myself, but i feel there will be a far easier way to do it.

created a circle> struck a lie from the edge to what i think is the center> the tried to use the scissors to chop a quadrant. thats where it gets messy, i cannot seem to join the outer quadrant to the 2 lines to create a segment of the pie, which i then want to fill with its individual colour.

To create a pic shape, draw your circle. The draw a vertical line and then a diagonal line. Select all objects and choose Align > Centers from the Action Bar. Divide the objects using Path > Divide from the action bar. You should end up with 4 pie shaped objects.
