Hi,
I have a large series of collections of images that I'd like to make into a DeepZoom image. My problem is that I add images over time. Further, each collection of images is a single group (i.e. for DeepZoom, a "collection"). Since I'm adding, it would save a great deal of CPU time if I could just process the new images and add them to the collection.
Is this possible?
Here is a more specific example, using single images:
1. I have a single image which I run composer over. It generates an output which can be correctly viewed by the multiscale image control.
2. A little while leter I would like to add a new image. Currently, I need to run composer over both the old and the new image to generate a new DZ image. What I'd like to do is run it over just the second image, then specify these two guys as sub-images in the multi-scale image control.
In the end I'm talking about 100's of images - and then adding on 5 or 6 -- seems like a huge waste of CPU and time to regenerate the whole thing. BTW what I have right now is all automated - so what I'm looking for is some way to modify the XML input to SparseImageTool or to modify the configuration of the MultiScaleImage tool (perhaps crate infos.bin on my own - just don't know the format).
