Hi,

We are trying to develop an App for Outlook by using Napa, we tried the following code:

We also tried to do a simple print 'Hello World' app, both apps works online in Outlook within the browser but when we try the same in Outlook in Windows 7 we always get the following error:

APP ERROR
This app could not be started. Close this dialog to ignore the problem or click "Restart" to try again.

Is there anything that we are missing, or is there any way we can debug this to find the problem?

Hi Ares,

This issue could be caused by several reasons, to resolve it:

Update your Office to latest version;

Make sure you have IE9 or above versions installed (Supported browsers in Office 2013 and Office 365);

Clean up caches on you IE browser;

Clean up manifest cache by deleting the entire "Wef" folder under "C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\15.0";

Make sure you have enabled protected mode for the internet zone in Internet Explorer, because Apps for Office 2013 do not start if you disable protected mode for the Internet zone in Internet Explorer.
