I have created a very simple wcf service and hosted it in azure. I can call that wcf service through javascript in my html page.

Can i do the same within a SharePoint App (SharePoint Hosted) in 2013 Online?

I think you can use the WCF on the SharePoint App if you can use it on a simple HTML page.
