I am having a problem with all setup programs on my computer, I'm running vista ultimate and have tried to install Office 2007 and Visual Studio 2008 Express and receive similar errors.  Windows update acts like it is installing updates but it just downloads the updates and then says Preparing to install.... It then just sets there until I reboot the computer.

An update, I finally got Windows Update to work however the other installs still don't work. Here are some of the errors I'm getting from the log files.
