Hey I am a young enterprenuer, 

After doing a few things successfully, I tried my luck in development, I got an app made, However somebody objected on name being their copyright, I didn't know that word was a patent as it was being used everywhere else. 

Nevertheless I took my app down, I tried to change the name of app but Visual studio always gives me error that I need something of Telerik on my computer, My developer didn't provide me support later on and whole project got paused while it was doing fairly ok before this mishap. 

Can anyone help me find best resources, ?

Hello,

Since your app has already published, you need to reserve a new name for that app in dashboard and create a new submission.

For details to do it, please check Reserve additional names for your app.

Then you need to update the package.StoreAssociation.xml file to use your new app name. And next you should change the Package/Properties/Displayname in app manifest. What's more, you need to change all the text and graphics including the name as well as the Store listing in your submission if you mention your app name there.

After that, your app will be in the Store with new app name after your new submission passes certification successfully.
