I could not find anywhere any information re support of NVIDIA SDI capture by MS Expression.

I tried using it with all the necessary drivers properly installed, however, MS Expression seems not to see the capture device at all.

Unfortunately, NVidia SDI capture doesn't have a DShow driver and requires using a proprietary SDK to hook up. That means that no DShow-based application, including Expression Encoder, Window Media Encoder, etc, will be able to use that device until there's a DShow driver for it.
