Hiya，

Hiya,

  I am basically trying to display the name of a custom finish column on the Gantt.   The date would pull through to the gantt in the usual way, however the column name, not task name would be displayed.   So assume the custom Finish  name is 'Bank Holiday 1'.  The Date would be entered as usual, however the 'Bank Holiday 1' name would be on the chart.  

This does not seem possible, but wondering if there is a switch or anything in Bar Styles Text that would enable this?

Any help much appreciated.

Hi,

I'm afraid not.  The data pulled in to the bar style is per task and cannot reference the field name.  I suggest adding a text field and entering whatever you wish to display there.  I suppose you could create a formula in the text field testing whether the custom finish field is empty and if not, display "Bank Holiday1".
