The "radio"  app  (Music and Videos) always uses the phone's speaker regardless of the fact that headphones are plugged in. It's not a problem with the headphones not being recognised/inserted properly as music playback is via the headphones. In fact you can't use the radio unless a headset is plugged in properly as it as the antenna. Lumia 520.
