I'm looking to power the Kinect 2.0 device to a custom portable li-ion powerbank, but I haven't been able to find information on how the device is powered/ the connector type that is needed / power requirements. As for the power consumption I have heard that 17W is needed per hour but I'm not 100% sure on this.

Also, I'm guessing that on the back of the Kinect 2.0 is a power cable similar to one used to connect a power brick to a laptop.  Example 12V DC connector and not a USB 3 connection.  If this is true, what size connector is needed and what polarity does the tip need to be?
