I am attempting to create a teaching video.  But not with much success. the video capture works fine, but when it is converted into WMV and embeded into PPT does not work.  The slide will display the thumbnail, but when you hit play it turns white.

I have tried everything, but nothing fixes it.  I have tried to convert it to an AVI file and although it plays in every player I own, it does not work in the powerpoint.

I am using Powerpoint 2002

totally open to suggestions even if it involves something other than  microsoft software !

I embedded a live stream using Expression Encoder 4 into a Power Point 4 presentation today by injecting a Windows Media player object into my Power Point presentation.  The video and audio played as expected.
