I have made several attemps to download the 60 day free trial of Project 2013. Each time that I do so, the download shows that it has completed, but the only thing I can under the associated file name is a dvd disc burner. Additionally, my husband tried downloading the 1 yr leased version on his computer and again it showed that it was downloaded, but when he accesses his Office 365 Project is no where to be found.

I suspect that the file you downloaded has a .iso file extension. You need to burn this file onto a DVD then install from the DVD. Alternatively download a free utility to extract the install files from the .iso file.
