I want to leverage the Marked field in a custom code. For the same reason I added Marked field to a project plan and saved it in XML. However I was unable to locate the column. Additionally the XML schema for Marked is also missing in msdn.

I'm not sure you can change the default xml format. I tried adding a custom field by renaming Text1 but that didn't work either. A quick search on the Internet didn't show anything either so you may be out of luck. Your other alternative is to build your own xml file using VBA which wouldn't actually take that long and would make sure you only had in it the data you need.
