Hi people!

I'm building one project academic where is using the kinect with interface tool

The project has goal to read one skeleton sitting on the scene and by methods mathematics (statistics) and the skeleton define the variation of motions of person sitting on the scene.

Is possible define one skeleton a person when position of Kinect it is orthogonal in relation the side view of the person?

You can certainly get some information from that scenario, but to what level of degree may be something you need to consider. Additionally, understand that any part of the body not facing the sensor will not have data and may required other methods to be employed. You can use 2 sensors and merge that data given you are able to calibrate them. 

You may want to review all the previous discussions on the forum about skeletal tracking(ST). ST was optimized for facing the sensor.
